Things to do in Sutherland

Sutherland - Britain's most remote and sparsely populated county - a true wilderness, teeming with wildlife and a total population of only 13700 in an area (1297846 acres or 5252 Km sq.) 1/3rd the size of Wales. Here we have space which is hard to take in when coming from the over-crowded and traffic ridden south. Spectacular mountains and open moorland with occasional fertile valleys and coastal edges.
